Water heating & Circulator pumps
Willow Pumps can design and install a range of circulators for all residential, commercial, and industrial systems, including heating systems, ventilation and air conditioning systems, boiler shunt pumps, and boiler primary and secondary systems.
What are water circulator pumps?
An electronic circulation pump is a vital part of any building’s heating. It provides the circulation of water from the boiler or heat source to radiators or other parts of the heating system. Circulation of hot water ensures the constant flow inside pipes, even if hot water is not used. In this way, there is never a long wait before the hot water starts to come out.
All hot water is circulated at a minimum temperature to minimize energy usage. This is controlled by a circulation valve that ensures water circulates back to the production system.
Design & installation
We can design and install new circulator pumps and replace old pumps in existing heating systems. If you have more than one boiler, it will be necessary to have one pump for each. This includes both single unit and twin-headed units.
We can also design and replace old circulator pumps to replace old, failed units. All circulators conform to the ErP directive, which states that they are manufactured in ‘A’ class energy efficiency rating. We use a range of tried and tested pumps from leading manufacturers to ensure the best and most cost-effective solution for you.
Maintenance & repair
We specialize in the preventative maintenance of all below-ground and above-ground pumps, including circulator pumps. Regular pump maintenance will include services such as:
- Inspecting for seal leaks
- Regreasing the barings
- Checking controls
- Exercising the valves
Pumps maintenance will not only make cost savings over time but will reduce the probability of a circulator pump breakdown.
Our 24/7 pump repair service will ensure that your pump is out of action for the minimum amount of time possible. Common issues include failed flow switches and mechanical seal failures.
Our highly experienced and mobile engineers will diagnose and repair your pump issues as quickly as possible, reducing downtime. We stock many spare parts and work across a huge range of industries including hospitality, food and beverage, utilities, and private sectors.
